We are looking for a talented Operations Manager to join our team based in Karratha. Reporting in to the Regional Branch Manager (North-West). The role provides a great opportunity to continue to grow the business and lead the service and parts teams. This is a hands-on management role and you will be responsible for managing a modern and strategic branch in Karratha that supports our On-Highway, Mining and Power Generation customers.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Lead, motivate, develop and engage a complete team of technicians and office staff.
- Champion Cummins leadership behaviours, mission, vision and values.
- Ensure all health, safety & environmental policies, procedures and legislation are followed, and create an interdependent safety culture.
- Build strong customer and OEM partner relationships.
- Develop and implement business growth plans to improve the customer experience.
- Manage sales, profitability, expenses, WIP and service KPIs in line with regional AOP.
- Proven experience as a leader, with a strong focus on HSE, RWE and talent management from a similar industry, with a good understanding of the on-highway truck market - mining experience is highly desirable
- Have highly developed communication and influencing skills.
- Be able to build strong, value creating customer relationships.
- Have the ability to balance the needs of employees, customers, shareholders and communities.
