The Role
This role reports to Company Director.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Director and management team to set and/or implement policies, procedures, and systems and to follow through with implementation
- Helping the organization’s processes remain legally compliant and participate in internal and external Audit activities
- In charge of day-to-day management of staff (with a focus of Hervey Bay team) including handling staff questions and grievances.
- Oversee recruitment, selection, training, scheduling, coaching, counselling, and discipline employees
- Ensuring improvement of operational management systems, processes and best practices
- Communicate job expectations; planning, monitoring and appraising of employees
- Carrying out necessary administrative duties and step in to cover shifts in an emergency
- Perform quality controls to increase quality of customer service
- Responsible for all aspects of company vehicles
- Review and approve all operational expenses /invoices and ensure they
are submitted for payment
- Identify business opportunities and work closely with Business
- Development Managers to follow them through.
NB: The role will involve travelling from time to time to set up business operation sites or meet teams in areas where we have business operations.
Qualifications and Experience You will have:
- Two or more years of proven success in an operations management role
- Excellent ability to delegate responsibilities while maintaining
- organizational control of branch operations and customer service
- Proficiency in conflict management and business negotiation processes
- Computer literacy (Office suite and capacity to use cloud-based software)
- Diploma in Business, Operations Management or related field

Hervey Bay Office with an option to work from home on some days.
