About the Role
The Operations & Partnerships Coordinator provides high-level support to staff, students, and visitors of UMCCR and DoCP, requiring a thorough understanding of office portfolios. Responsibilities include implementing process improvements, coordinating budget compliance, managing academic program administration, overseeing recruitment, and building stakeholder relationships with internal and external partners. The position also entails financial data collation for reporting, supervising staff, and ensuring compliance with HR policies, OHS, and EH&S responsibilities.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Consult, develop, and implement new processes and process improvements to gain administrative efficiencies across the UMCCR and DoCP.
  • Co-ordinate key academic programs administration for the UMCCR/DoCP suite of courses, including award, non-award and courses offered through MSPACE.
  • Build and maintain stakeholder relationships within the University, VCCC and external partners such as Illumina and auditors.

Who We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate will excel in communication, policy interpretation, and workflow improvement. Adaptable and committed to customer service, with strong organizational and time management skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office, problem-solving, and collaboration.

You will also have:

  • A degree, diploma, Certificate IV, or post-trades certificate with relevant work experience, or an equivalent combination of experience and education/training is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to work under broad direction autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Proven ability to interpret policies and procedures in order to provide accurate advice and complete tasks appropriately within a framework of broad guidelines.
  • High level of proficiency in the use of standard application software such as the Microsoft Office suite.

This role requires that the successful candidate must undergo and maintain an up-to-date Working with Children Check. This is essential to guarantee a secure environment for all individuals at the University. In the case the selected candidate doesn't have a valid Working with Children Check, they will be able to apply for the WWCC as part of the initial onboarding procedures.
