About the role
We have a vacancy for Plant Operators to join our Railton Quarry Services Team in Tasmania.
The Operator - Packaged and Bulk ANE, ANFO, is responsible for undertaking the processes and systems associated with Packaged and Bulk ANE, ANFO production to the extent of their skill and competence. To operate the manufacturing facilities safely, efficiently, and effectively to address production and distribution requirements and provide a quality service in manufacturing Packaged and Bulk ANE, and ANFO to our customers in a safe and environmentally conscious manner.

What you will be doing
- Product delivered to customers and Orica Depots to meet demand schedule.
- The manufacturing plant and delivery vehicles are maintained according to schedule.
- Accurate provision of delivery dockets to customers.
- Perform QC testing on incoming raw materials and products being dispatched to customers.
- Maintaining vehicles in clean and presentable condition.
- Ensure raw materials are ordered promptly and received, stored, and handled correctly.
- Ensure the timely calibration of manufacturing equipment and MMUs.
- 2+ years' experience in a dangerous goods/bulk explosives/heavy industry/process plant environment is preferred.
- Skills: Basic autoelectrics, Basic hydraulics, Quality Systems, and basis of safety.
- Noise Plant Exposures; Emulsion/Solution Manufacture; Emulsion Deliveries; Gasser Make-up; and HWG/Compressor Operation.
- Possess an unquestioned reputation for integrity, ethics, personal values, and solid character.

- Good understanding and focus on customer and business promise deliverables.
