Oracle Database Developer

This Federal Government agency provides ongoing scientific research and monitoring of the Australian landscape.

Due to ongoing technology uplifts, there is an exciting opportunity for an Oracle Database Developer to join the team and work in an Agile environment.

The Oracle Database Developers tasks will include, but not be limited to:

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage with stakeholders to define work packages/technical requirements for sprint planning.
• Design and implement maintainable solutions.
• Provide and accept constructive feedback in code reviews.
• Contribute to a positive collaborative team culture.

Essential Criteria:

• Experience with APEX (APplication EXpress)
• Experience with PL/SQL
• Experience with SQL
• Ability to work collaboratively in an agile team and engage with stakeholders.

Desirable Criteria:

• Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
• Experience with Data modelling.
• Experience with JavaScrip, HTML, CSS and Agile software development.
• Experience developing geological databases and apex systems for the federal government.
