Our client, a large Federal Government department requires an experienced OIA developer for a long 12 + 12 month contract.
This can be based in ACT, NSW, NT, QLD, SA, TAS, VIC or WA, on a flexible working arrangement.
Duties
- Write rules in OIA's Oracle Policy Modelling (OPM) development tool;
- Enhance and support business systems through development, review and deployment of Java customisations for Oracle Intelligent Advisor (OIA) solutions;
- Administration of OIA application build and deployment scripts;
- Produce technical solution documentation in detail;
- Apply skills to integrate OIA with other applications and data sources; and
- Elicit requirements from business owners and translate these requirements into specifications.

Selection Criteria
- Proven experience in Oracle Intelligent Advisor (OIA) solutions, OIA including familiarity with the OIA connector framework, styling extensions and OIA APIs;
- Experience writing rules in OIA's Oracle Policy Modelling (OPM) development tool;
- Ability to document technical solutions in detail;
- Demonstrable architectural or business designer experience;
- Skills in the integration of OIA with Siebel;
- Ability to elicit requirements from business owners and translate these requirements into specifications;
- Demonstrable experience applying a wide variety of Software Development methodologies including waterfall, agile etc.
