Our client, an organisation that has been providing Aged Care community support in the Port Stephens region for decades is looking for an Organisation Educator to join their team and help maintain their high standards of care and compliance.
About the Role:
As an Organisation Educator, you will be pivotal in developing, sourcing, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating internal and external education programs for all employees. Your role is essential in ensuring that our staff receives the right training to provide excellent care to their clients, foster ongoing professional growth, and comply with performance and behavioural standards as well as relevant legislation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Training Needs Analysis: Develop and review training needs analysis in consultation with key stakeholders.
- Legislative Compliance: Ensure all educational material meets current legislative requirements, including ACQSC regulations and Aged Care Standards.
- Evidence-Based Content: Develop education content that reflects current practices and is based on evidence-based best practices.
- Quality Education Programs: Design, deliver, implement, and evaluate educational programs that meet organizational needs.
- Mandatory Training: Ensure all staff receives mandatory, role-specific education annually using a blended learning approach (e-learning, face-to-face, practical competencies).
- Orientation Processes: Oversee and manage, in collaboration with the People & Culture team, the development and implementation of orientation processes.
- Onboarding: Contribute to the development and implementation of effective onboarding processes and systems.
