The Position 

We are eager to connect with Change Managers with experience in designing and/or delivering organisational and digital transformation in complex and evolving environments across the energy, resources, defence and government sectors. You can anticipate being involved in major projects across defence and government, resources, and health. You should also anticipate contribution to internal projects and engagement within our communities of practice. 

For this role you will be working within various client settings which will require you to gain or have a Defence Security Clearance. If you don’t currently have a clearance please still apply as we will support you to gain one, however you will need to be an Australian Citizen. 

Project work locations will be a mix of work from our Perth office and from our client’s sites as required. 

Essential Requirements 

  • Ability to gain and retain a Defence Security Clearance 

Essential Capabilities, Behaviours, Skills or Experience 

  • Exhibit behaviours aligned to Vescient’s values of Integrity, Courage, Teamwork, Respect, Initiative, Leadership and Loyalty. 
  • Minimum 5 years of experience leading, facilitating and managing change in complex and ambiguous organisational environments. 
  • Conversant with a broad range of change methodologies and frameworks. 
  • Demonstrated stakeholder management skills. 
  • Demonstrated ability to guide and lead communications specialists. 
  • Demonstrated experience developing fit-for-purpose Organisational Change strategies and plans, inclusive of management of change risks and resistance.  
  • Demonstrated experience in effectively mapping how organisational culture, governance, capabilities, skills, and roles need to change.  
  • Demonstrated ability to develop benefits realisation plans and customer maturity journeys. 
  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate sustainable change capability and mindsets within organisations. 
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively engage and communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders across multiple levels of the organisation. 
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively within multiple project delivery methodologies. 
  • Demonstrated ability and desire to flex into complementary areas of practice (e.g. business analysis, business improvement, project management) to successfully deliver customer outcomes.  
     

Desirable Skills or Experience 

  • Organisational change experience in digital transformation, operating model changes, and systems implementation is highly advantageous. 
  • Tertiary qualification in organisational psychology, communications, HR or a related field. 
  • Certifications in change management or business improvement methodologies. 
  • Certifications in coaching and / or training design and delivery.
