Primary Objective(s) of role:
- The Orthopaedic Registrar will contribute to the provision of clinical services to WCHN inpatients and outpatients under Consultant supervision the Orthopaedic Registrar will demonstrate a commitment to clinical teaching and participate in associated research projects.
- The Registrar is responsible for organising the on call roster. This runs over an 8 week rotation and is shared between the fellow and 3 registrars.
- The Registrar will be required to operate a Fluoroscope if licencing can be obtained.
As per the SMOEA 2022, the total term of employment with SA Health will be 3 years. Rotations following the initial 6 or 12 month allocation will be determined in line with your training and SA Health’s requirements. This may include transfer to other SA Health locations to perform work appropriate to classification, skills and capabilities.
