About the Role
Albury Wodonga Health (AWH) has an opportunity for a Fractional Staff Specialist Orthopaedic Surgeon to join our growing team of committed health professionals.
The role will involve participating in emergency, outpatient and elective orthopaedic surgery within our health service.
AWH has seven operating theatres located over two acute sites providing General Surgery and sub-specialty services in addition to ENT, Urology, Orthopaedics, Ophthalmology, Plastics and Paediatric Surgery. Comprehensive clinical support is provided by specialist services in Emergency, Anaesthetics, Intensive Care, Specialist Physicians, and diagnostic services.
Applicants must currently have:
- Appropriate specialist recognition with the Royal Australian College of Surgeons and the Australian Orthopaedic Association
- Specialist Registration or recognised Fellowship which permits Specialist level registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- A desire to support AWH in providing specialist Orthopaedic services to our local population.
