This Coordinator role will see you flex your excellent communication skills, with free time during the day between shifts!

A service based in Keilor is looking for a passionate and organised Coordinator for children in our before and after school care capacity. This is a permanent part-time position at 30.5 hours per week all year round - the perfect balance!

Hours will be Monday –Friday, 07:00 – 09:00 AM (Rise then Shine Program) and 02:45 – 06:15 PM (Stay and Play Program) plus 3 additional admin hours. Note: you must be available all 5 days for this role. 

In addition to a competitive salary, there is also a $1000 commencement bonus at the completion of first month plus another $1000 loyalty bonus at 12 months + split shift allowance + uniform allowance + other benefits + super.

About the role 

Leading a team of Educators, you will manage a service at a primary school in the hours before and after school for children aged 5-12 years. You'll have the support of a state specific office, plus regional managers who regularly visit and mentor you at your service. 

  • Develop and facilitate an engaging child-centered program full of exciting experiences such as STEM, sport, cooking, art and craft - whatever you and the children are into! 
  • Foster healthy relationships with children, the school, community, and parents 
  • Lead a team of Educators onsite, including roster management 
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of your service including compliance and administration

About the service 

Based in Keilor, this service operates out of a designated OSHC space meaning you don't have to pack up at the end of each session. The children who attend have great relationships with the existing team and you would be warmly welcomed! 

Who are we looking for? 

A few basics you need to have: 

  • Available 5 days/ week
  • Reliable and willing to assist at other services if needed
  • Good time management skills
  • Hold or willing to obtain a national police check (we'll pay for it!) and a state check for working with children 
  • Australian work  rights 
  • Currently studying an ACECQA approved Diploma such as those based in education, health or the community (visit the ACECQA website for more information)

  • OR willing to undertake a traineeship with us
