On behalf of our client, a High Profile Energy Corporation, Brunel is actively sourcing an Outage Planner to develop plan and execute, schedule and coordinate short, medium and long-term Operation and Maintenance activities for a power generation plant and facilities. This will be a 12 month contract with a possible view to extend located in the Northern suburbs of Perth – ideal for candidates residing in this area!
You will be responsible for:
- Assisting with the definition of the outage scope of work, planning and scheduling of tasks and preparations of Work Packs
- Ordering and reserving all site stocked spares for the Outage Work list
- Providing assistance where necessary to produce the Outage Schedule
- Requisitioning spares and materials required during the Outage
- Meeting deadlines and milestones during the planning and execution phases of the outage
- Placing orders for the purchase of tools, equipment, materials and consumables
- Assisting in the development and administration of the outage baseline control estimate
- Assisting in the preparation of weekly/monthly reports
- Maintaining a register of Hire Equipment and ensure the hire equipment process is followed
- Processing authorised CSRs in a timely manner
- A Trade Certificate or relevant qualifications in Generation or a similar industry
- Experienced user in SAP
- Skilled in the use of scheduling and project management software such as MS Project / Primavera 6
- Maintenance management, planning/scheduling and contracting techniques
- Experience in relevant safety and environmental management legislation, standards, policies and procedures
- Extensive experience in the operation and maintenance of electricity generation plant and facilities OR relevant industry experience is preferred
- Hold a C Class Driver’s Licence
- 12 month contract with a possible view to extend!
