Job description

Position Title: Outbound Telemarketer (Security Sales)

 

Position Overview:

We are seeking an energetic and results-driven Outbound Telemarketer to join our sales team. The primary responsibility of this role is to make outbound calls and generate qualified leads for our Business Development Managers (BDMs) in the security sales department. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, a persuasive demeanor, and a proactive attitude towards achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct outbound cold calls to prospects from provided email lists with the aim of setting up appointments for BDMs to discuss security sales solutions.
  • Engage prospects in meaningful conversations to identify their security needs and assess their potential as qualified leads.
  • Articulate the value proposition of our security products and services to prospects, highlighting key features and benefits.
  • Qualify leads based on predefined criteria, such as budget, decision-making authority, and timeline.
  • Record accurate and detailed information about each call and prospect interaction in the CRM system – KEAP.
  • Collaborate closely with BDMs to schedule appointments and ensure a smooth handover of leads.
  • Follow up with prospects via email or phone to confirm appointment details and address any questions or concerns.
  • Meet or exceed weekly and monthly targets for lead generation and appointment setting.
  • Provide detailed feedback to marketing on list quality and any other prospect feedback that can support list quality improvement or sales approach.
  • Answer all inbound enquiries and direct to internal departments (10%)
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, including compliance with telemarketing regulations and data protection laws.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Previous experience in outbound telemarketing, cold calling, or sales prospecting mandatory.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills with a confident and persuasive phone manner.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport quickly with prospects.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and basic computer skills for data entry and reporting.
  • Knowledge of security products and services is a plus but not required; willingness to learn and adapt is essential.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in sales or marketing is beneficial.
