We have an exciting opportunity for a part-time Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) 2IC to join our innovative high-intensity OSHC program for children with disabilities attending Melton Specialist School.

We are proud to be part of a government-funded program providing free OSHC services to children and young people with disabilities attending Specialist Schools.
Remuneration commencing at SCHADS Level 3 plus salary packaging to reduce the tax you pay and increase your take-home pay (as per PBI status).
Your role at a glanceYour role as the OSHC 2IC is pivotal to the program's success. You will assist in managing the OSHC program, adhering to its policies and directives.
- After-school care (Monday-Friday): Directly supervising staff and children from 2 pm to 6 pm or until the last child is collected.
- School Holiday Care: You will directly supervise staff and children during the holiday program from 9 am to 5 pm or until the last child is collected.
- Experience in child services, education, or disabilities with leadership aspirations.
- Passion for child development and education.
- Strong ethics, child safety awareness, and work health and safety knowledge.
- Adaptability, flexibility, and resilience in the face of change.
Flexible working arrangements can be considered for the right candidate.
You must be willing to provide the following prior to starting work:- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working with Children Check
- First Aid and CPR Certificates
- NDIS Orientation Certificate
- Mandatory Reporting Certificate
- COVID vaccination (including first booster)
- Proof of Right to work in Australia
- Current valid driver's license
