Outside School Hours Care 2IC - Melton Specialist School (part-time)

We have an exciting opportunity for a part-time Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) 2IC to join our innovative high-intensity OSHC program for children with disabilities attending Melton Specialist School.

We are proud to be part of a government-funded program providing free OSHC services to children and young people with disabilities attending Specialist Schools.

Remuneration commencing at SCHADS Level 3 plus salary packaging to reduce the tax you pay and increase your take-home pay (as per PBI status).

Your role as the OSHC 2IC is pivotal to the program's success. You will assist in managing the OSHC program, adhering to its policies and directives.

• After-school care (Monday-Friday): Directly supervising staff and children from 2 pm to 6 pm or until the last child is collected.
• School Holiday Care: You will directly supervise staff and children during the holiday program from 9 am to 5 pm or until the last child is collected.

• Experience in child services, education, or disabilities with leadership aspirations.
• Passion for child development and education.
• Strong ethics, child safety awareness, and work health and safety knowledge.
• Adaptability, flexibility, and resilience in the face of change.

• NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Working with Children Check
• First Aid and CPR Certificates
• NDIS Orientation Certificate
• Mandatory Reporting Certificate 
• COVID vaccination (including first booster)
• Proof of Right to work in Australia
• Current valid driver's license
