We have a rare opportunity for a full-time Food & Beverage Duty Manager to join our Oval Hotel team.
You'll play an important role in driving the profitability of all food and beverage services and be charged with delivering best practice to drive the success of the Oval Hotel. You'll provide hands-on leadership to our food and beverage team, identify ways to innovate and elevate our service and oversee inventory control systems and reporting requirements. You'll be experienced in managing events and facilities and be professional, confident and able to juggle multiple priorities whilst maintaining a cool, calm attitude.
What you'll be doing- Lead, manage and develop our F&B team to be the best they can be.
- Oversee food and beverage operations including inventory control systems, purchasing, and delivery of supplies.
- Identify opportunities to innovate and generate revenue.
- Prepare routine performance reports and forecasts.
- Manage workforce planning and rostering requirements to meet KPI's.
- Ensure internal audit and compliance requirements are carried out in a timely manner.
- Previous experience in a similar Duty Manager role (and within a hotel environment).
- Experience leading and developing hospitality teams.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Strong communication skills including the capacity to build meaningful team relationships.
- Experience managing events and facilities.
- Ability to maintain high workloads and meet tight deadlines, with exceptional time management skills.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as collaborating within a team environment.
Please note that out of hours work including nights, weekends and public holidays are a requirement of this role.
