We're looking for the people who've enjoyed their retail experience, but want to Move into a more corporate role with greater opportunity and exposure.  
 
So what’s happening here?
 
The business has an urgent requirement for up to 10 people to Move into a Customer service position within their dedicated Customer Support function. They’ve identified the retail sector- particularly people who work in a busy, always on environment- as an untapped talent pool for their team.
 
So, what’s the business?
 
Founded in 2003, this Australian Fintech employs over 600 staff nationally and has an ever-growing customer base of 66,000 and counting. They help customers across several financial realms, including payments, banking, and lending. The industries they tend to service include Hospitality, Retail, Health, Trades and Services and Not for Profits.

As a clue, if you've worked in retail, you probably know the company! 

 
And what’s the actual job?
 
As with all great businesses, they have a motivated Customer Support team on hand ready to assist with any issues a Customer may be having at any time. Your job is to service these customers via inbound phone calls, talk to people about their queries, understand the best course of action to answer those questions and rectify any problems for them.

This job suits people who enjoy talking with customers! You'll spend a lot of time on the phone everyday. 

Many people have started out in the Customer Support team and after a 12 month + period have been promoted into other areas of the business.  

Money/Hours/Location
 
The salary for the role is around $65,000 + superannuation. There is an annual bonus which is awarded based on company performance. 
 
This is a full time, permanent position. Due to the nature of the role there is a rotating roster. The earliest you will start is 7am, and the latest you'll finish is 7pm. You will need to be able to work 1 weekend every 4 weeks.  *Please note you must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent resident of Australia to be considered for this position. 
 
For the training and onboarding period of 4-8 weeks you will need to be in the office full time. Following training you can spend 2-3 days a week in the office, and 2-3 days a week working from home. The business is based in a fantastic office space in Sydney CBD near public transport.

The customer service skills and the energy required to deal with people are very transferrable to this role. With the training provided, this business has a strong track record of helping retail people break into their first corporate job. Of course your ability to navigate through a process using a computer system will be required as well.
