You don’t need any experience, but you do need to be willing to get in and have a go. You do need to love the water! Our days are spent out on boats looking after our oysters. That means we get warm, sunny days and we get wild, wet and cold days.
Eyre Shellfish is looking for a Full Time and Casual Farmhand to join the team. We currently have vacancies at our Cowell Farm.
About you:
- Must live locally or be willing to relocate
- Works well within a small team
- Be physically fit to work in a farming environment
- Comfortable working on boats and the water
About the Role:
- No Experience needed, all training will be provided on the job
- Complete the Eyre Shellfish onboarding process, including our safety induction, get to know your work mates and their roles within our business
- Learn our company vision and values and what drives our successes
- Get in and have a go – learn the tasks and ask lots of questions
- Shadow our team leaders and experienced farmhands to get an understanding of your work
- Check in with our People and Safety team to ensure you have everything you need to succeed
