SalaryOur client a well known and respected organisation in the Riverland Region of South Australia is looking for person to fill a full-time position in its Packing Shed and Orchards work sites. This is a full-time position, and you must be willing to work for the entire term of 3 years, starting in mid-March 2024.
The work demands a lot of physical strength and long hours of standing and lifting of weights. Duties will include working on the production line in the Packing Shed, leading pallet stacking, strapping, sorting. packing and recording of data. Moving supplies from packing areas to storage.
Orchard's duties include and not limited to assist in carrying out all crop maintenance and development from ground preparation to harvesting, cultural practices - Planting, Pruning, Weeding, Thinning, Harvesting, and supporting the irrigation person through operation and maintenance of irrigation systems. Part of your duty is the adherence to all WH&S policies and regulations and the company Risk Assessment Policy to be always observed.
Working days are from Monday to Friday and working hours is from 7.45am to 4pm. This is based on 38 hours a week and all work conditions and remunerations are based on the Horticulture Industry Award. There is a potential to upskill, or you will be provided further training to enhance your skills and knowledge.
