Packing Shed Staff

In order to meet our growing business demands Lenswood Cold Stores are currently seeking casual staff to work in our apple packing department.  The hours will be varied but could include Saturday Mornings.

Typical tasks and duties include but are not limited to:

• Working on the production line
• Sorting and packing fruit
• Ability to perform manual handling up to 20 kgs
• Stacking crates
• General cleaning
• Forklift operation (if holding a current licence)

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Previous experience in a food production environment is desirable but not essential
• The ability to learn new tasks quickly and have a can do attitude
• Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
• An understanding of computer based programs
• The ability to work autonomously and in a team environment

You will also need to hold a current Drivers' Licence, be reliable and responsible.
