Job description
Our multidisciplinary clinics and team exude a passion for making a positive impact on families and children. We offer face-to-face services for the Eastern Suburbs and Lower North Shore, as well as telehealth services for children all over Sydney. We are passionate about working with neurodivergent children and their families with this forming a large portion of our caseloads. We offer a full scope of assessments, diagnostics and therapies, working in conjunction with our multidisciplinary team of psychologists and neuropsychologists, as well as our speech therapy partners.
About this role
The role is suitable for qualified Occupational Therapists with a minimum of 3 years paediatric experience in a clinical setting.
Your duties will include:
- Providing Occupational Therapy services to children with a range of developmental difficulties. This includes assessments and intervention to develop areas including but not limited to gross and fine motor skills, sensory integration, self-care skills, social and play skills and fussy eating.
- Providing evidence-based intervention using a range of different service delivery models (including group intervention).
- Supervision of other clinicians in the practice.
- Collaborating with other team members and liaising with external professionals to best support the clients and their families.
- Participating in and delivery of professional development sessions, case conferences and journal article reviews.
- Documenting assessment results, client progress notes and other reports as required.
- Working in preschool and school environments to train and support preschool and school staff.
- Employing a family centred approach to all children on your caseload.

Essential Requirements
- Degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Registration with AHPRA.
- Eligibility for membership with OT Australia.
- A current Working with Children Check (WWCC).
- A current Police Check.
- A minimum of 3 years clinical paediatric experience.
- Driver's Licence.
- A desire to work in a paediatric setting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Confidence in your ability to communicate with families and other professionals.
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- Positive attitude with eagerness to learn and develop professional skills.
- The ability to work independently as well as within a team.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
