Children's Health Queensland provides services from key locations in the Brisbane metropolitan area and works with the 15 other hospital and health services as well as NGOs and charity partners in Queensland to deliver an integrated network of healthcare services and support across the state.Your Opportunity:The position of Paediatric Advanced Trainee in the role of Oncology Research Fellow provides an opportunity for interested fellows to partake in dedicated research activities within the Oncology Service as well as pursue (or prepare applications to) a higher degree. The Oncology Research Fellow will be integrated into the unit, sharing on call and clinical duties with protected time to conduct research activity.The position would:

• Primarily undertake research, evidence-based practice and quality improvement activities, which may include undertaking specialty research projects and training, clinical audits and clinical risk management activities.
• Deliver medical services through participation in clinical duties at Fellow level and in accordance with the policies, practices and Values of the Children's Health Queensland Hospital and Health Service.
• Assist in the professional development of junior medical staff and the training of medical and allied health students.
