We are seeking an experienced Paediatric Speech Pathologist to join our passionate multi-disciplinary team. We require an experienced Paediatric Speech Pathologist to work in our beautiful Epping clinic, with the option of days at our long-established Hornsby clinic also. We offer high remuneration for the right candidate experienced in Paediatric Speech Therapy with Hanen and DIR Floortime training as well as experience working with children with ASD. We are also offering a $1000 sign-on bonus for the successful applicant on completion of your first six months.
Our ideal candidate will have a deep passion for working with children and have a minimum of 2-5 years experience, however, we can offer training and ongoing supervision to help an enthusiastic candidate grow into the role. We will consider highly capable new graduates able to work independently within a MDT.
Role Details
The role is flexible and we can organise work days and times to suit you. You will:
- Have a maximum of 35 contacts per week and scheduled non face to face time for each client
- Assess and provide therapy to children with speech and language delays and disorders, autism spectrum disorder, literacy, learning, and fluency disorders
- Liaise with families, health professionals & educational staff to provide individualised support plans and clinical support
- Build relationships and engage clients to provide short and long-term strategies to facilitate child development.
- Collaborate in joint sessions with other multidisciplinary members
- Work mainly in a clinical setting, with optional mobile therapy (schools)
