Due to the growing demand for service, an opportunity now exists for an experienced Painter Foreperson to join our exciting Painting team in Tamworth. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a team providing the timely preparation and painting of nominated customer sites to a high quality.
As a Foreperson you will be accountable for managing and budgeting all staff materials and equipment on each project, ensuring that projects are managing to a safe, successful and profitable conclusion and to the customer's satisfaction. This role will also require providing some administration and project management support to our Branch Manager.

Key Responsibilities
- Apply paints, sealers, and solvents to the exterior and interior building surfaces such as plaster, sheetrock, concrete and wood
- Prepare painting surfaces for painting by scraping, filling in the cracks and removing old paint
- Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment
- Manage staff, budget and equipment
AboutYou
To join our team, you will be an experienced Painter who has previously worked in a commercial environment with a passion for providing quality work and a strong commitment to the safety of yourself and others. Additionally, you will have:
- Trade qualification in painting and decorating preferred but not essential
- Ideally, previous experience as a Foreperson or managing teams
- Current driver’s license
- Demonstrate a professional approach in the workplace
- Excellent customer service skills
- Execute work that is of a high standard
- Current satisfactory national police check
