We are looking for Spray Painters for a local based role in Forrestfield you will be primarily responsible for spray painting and sand blasting trailers and other equipment in a timely, safe and high-quality manner.

The Main Duties Of a Sandblaster/painter Include

• Sand blasting to specification.
• Able to follow paint specifications and documentation.
• Examining surfaces to be treated.
• Preparing and mixing paints and any other substances to be applied.
• Checking the finished item.
• Able to follow safety procedures and monitor quality control.
• Spray paint and sand blast road transport equipment.
• Preparing surfaces for paint application.
• Mix and colour match paints to meet the requirements of the job.
• Brush touch, paint/blend any defective areas of coated items.
• Clean work areas and spray equipment.
• To ensure all work is carried out to company policies and procedures.
• Adhere to workplace safety requirements and use PPE correctly at all times.

The Role

• Full Time Position.
• Monday - Friday Local Role.
• Penalties paid for Overtime.
• ASAP Start!
• Onsite parking.

To be considered you must have / be willing to obtain:

• Previous experience with painting or blasting (advantageous).
• Passion to learn painting and blasting activities.
• Knowledge of using hand tools safely.
• Hold Forklift Licence or ability to procure the same.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment medicals.
• Have Australian working rights

The ProcessAll shortlisted personnel must be able to attend a face to face interview at our WA office, and pass a full pre-employment medical as well as drug & alcohol testing prior to employment.
