We are seeking motivated and experienced PAINTING TRADES PERSON to join our friendly Professional Team located in New Chum, Queensland
Reporting to the supervisor, key areas of responsibilityinclude:
- Clean metal surfaces for painting
- Sand and prepare parts for painting
- Paint components to a strict specification
- Wrap components for dispatch after painting
- Ensure safe working procedures and practices arefollowed at all times
To be considered for this role you will need:
- At least 3+ years’ experience
- Good communication skills
- Working at Heights
- High Risk Work Licence - Elevated Work Platform
- Working in Confined Space
- Understand surface preparation and finishes.
- Be able to understand and complete works tospecifications.
- Be able to mix to correct ratio two-part paintcoatings etc.
- Select paints, varnishes and stains to varioussurfaces using brushes, sprays, and rollers.
- Understand the use of Wet Film Thickness Gaugesand be able to achieve specified dry film thickness.
- Erecting scaffolding and ladders.
- Cleaning equipment and work areas.
