We have a rare opportunity for a Paralegal to join our Construction, Projects and Infrastructure team in Newcastle working with Paul Tobin and Carly Roberts.
More about the job and the team
- Support a team who specialises in both front and back-end work for major construction projects, energy infrastructure construction and commercial property development clients
- This role will give you exposure to the end-to-end cycle of a project from contract drafting, advice and negotiation, documentation and risk review and disputes including arbitration, adjudication, expert determination, mediation, and litigation
- This is a casual role working 2-3 days a week with flexibility to accommodate your study schedule. You will learn from a nationally integrated team of lawyers who bring a wealth of experience to our clients across a variety of industries

More about you
- Our ideal candidate will be in their 4th year or more of your law degree, we do not expect that you will have previous construction exposure
- You will be an outstanding communicator with excellent attention to detail and able to commit to working 2-3 days a week
