APD Parcel Delivery is a proudly South Australian owned, PARCEL DELIVERY and palletised freight distribution business based in Dudley Park SA.
With a fleet of over 100 vehicles, on a daily basis, we successfully service Metro Adelaide, Adelaide Hills, Murray Bridge, Mt Barker, Strathalbyn, Victor Harbor, Fleurieu Peninsula, McLaren Vale, Gawler, Virginia, Barossa Valley, Lower Mid North and Clare, and through our freight partners, the rest of Australia.
The Role
We are currently seeking a skilled DELIVERY DRIVER to join our team on a full-time permanent basis.
In this role you will accurately scan, sort, load and deliver a high volume of parcel freight in a fast-paced environment. As a depot driver you will step in when a permanent run driver is away, or needs help, and when not on the road you will assist with general warehouse duties.
The successful candidate will require the following key attributes:
- Reliable and trusted team player
- Extensive delivery experience with a very strong knowledge of Metro Adelaide
- Previous experience in a warehousing / despatch role
- Excellent time management
- Computer literate
- Good numeracy skills
- Able to work autonomously and in a team
- Have a "can do" attitude.
- Ability to perform and maintain focus under pressure
- Must have a full driver’s licence
- Current Forklift licence would be preferred
