Council is seeking to appoint a permanent full time Parks and Gardens Irrigation Officer to contribute to Council’s success.

About the Role

The purpose of this position is to support Council’s direction by leading the operation of irrigation infrastructure including maintenance of sprinklers, drippers, controllers and monitoring as determined from asset data and inspection of systems.

You will bring:

• Certificate III in Irrigation or related qualification and/or experience
• Experience leading work teams and knowledge of and experience in applying Work, Health and Safety in the work environment.
• Effective communication (oral and written) and interpersonal.
• Proficient skills and experience using technical devices.
• Experience and competency operating under a current Medium Rigid (MR) licence.
