During the Parks & Gardens Apprenticeship, you will be working full time 38 hours per week while studying a Certificate III in Parks & Gardens. You would be gaining experience in the workplace with one of our host employers.
Duties may include but not limited to:
- Installing and maintaining plant displays
- Cultivating turf installing irrigation and drainage
- Controlling weeds, pests and diseases
- Performing operational maintenance of machinery
- Providing information on plants, products and treatments
Applicants will ideally meet the following criteria:
- Be eligible to complete an apprenticeship
- Be well presented, enthusiastic, reliable and punctual
- Be motivated with a positive attitude
- Drivers licence and own transport preferred.
