A fantastic opportunity for a New graduate or recently qualified physiotherapist has become available at our Parramatta practice .
We are seeking an energetic , motivated Physiotherapist to join our long standing Injury Management group in a full time role at our Parramatta practice. The practice is a specialised injury management center where you will work under the direct supervision of supportive , experienced physiotherapists. You will also work within a friendly and supportive team comprising of Doctors, Specialists, Nurses and administrative staff. The Doctors provide immediate in-house referrals of acute injuries, they do not see Medicare/ Sick patients as we specialise in musculoskeletal medicine. Our Physiotherapists and Doctors work in a collaborative team to achieve industry leading injury recovery outcomes and outstanding patient satisfaction.
The caseload is primarily acute musculoskeletal injuries, often seen day of injury, providing an excellent environment to develop your assessment and manual therapy skills , you will then have the opportunity to follow these patients through to full recovery with the support of a senior physiotherapist to guide and help you. Regular professional development provided including in-services provided by Sydney's leading Orthopedic surgeons
The role provides a varied caseload including:
- Treatment of acute musculoskeletal injuries sustained in a workplace environment usually seen within the first few hours of injury. (the majority of our patients).
- Post surgery rehabilitation (Shoulder, knee, ankle, hand, etc).
- Fracture management from assessment and plastering through to treatment and rehabilitation. (Training provided)
- Opportunity to present education / wellness / training programs
- Some pre employment and injury function assessments (training provided)
Our clinic is open weekday business hours only. There is no weekend or evening work required. The practice is located less than 5 minutes walk from local train stations and is an established presence in a fantastic vibrant area to work . The group has a strong emphasis on musculoskeletal physiotherapy, ongoing mentoring and continuing professional development. IMMEX has electronic record keeping and great administrative support minimising non clinical requirements.
Essential requirements:
- Current Australian Physiotherapy registration with AHPRA
- Excellent communication skills.
- SIRA approved.
- Professional Insurance

- Have an ability to work both independently & in a friendly team environment.
