The Opportunity
You will contact and engage registered participants for UniSC Clinical Trials, completing a pre-trial screening questionnaire via the following channels - outbound calls, data system text messages and emails, determining initial eligibility for Clinical Trial enrolment.
You will be contacting warm leads, who have requested contact or been referred by a health professional. You will take ownership of Contact Centre enquiries, complying with ICH/GCP framework, UniSC Clinical Trials standard operating procedures, work instructions and applicable Human Research Ethics Committee guidelines. The Participant Recruitment Team Member will ensure participant privacy and confidentiality without exception, asking questions relating to medical history, medications and lifestyle choices working to achieve desired outcomes to meet study protocol criteria. In addition, you will perform ad-hoc administration and data entry duties as required.

You will
- perform a pre-trial screening of potential trial participants via phone, with the ability to manage communication via the following channels – inbound/outbound calls, emails, text messages and social media enquiries;
- ability to multitask across different systems at one time. You will maintain a professional phone manner whilst accurately and efficiently recording answers to phone screening questions with potential participants, whilst seeking knowledge from Clinical Teams, determining initial eligibility for Clinical Trial Enrolment;
- demonstrate a sound understanding of technology and computer systems with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy across data entry platforms;
- ability to actively listen and discern participants questions and answers to seek understanding of their individual circumstances to finalise clinic bookings in a timely manner; and
- demonstrated ability to work and thrive in a target driven environment, where you will need to meet tight deadlines.
About you
You possess exceptional written and oral communication skills, along with outstanding customer service abilities. You maintain a professional, positive, and friendly phone manner, quickly establishing rapport with participants. Your high attention to detail ensures accuracy across data entry platforms. You thrive in a team orientated, target-driven environment, consistently meeting tight deadlines.
You will possess:
- A minimum of 1 year experience in a contact centre environment with an administration degree or equivalent proven prior learning/work experience.
- Ability to actively listen and discern participants questions and answers to seek understanding of their individual circumstances to finalise clinic bookings in a timely manner.
- Demonstrate a sound understanding of technology with the ability to learn new CRM systems (preference given to RealTime CTMS experience or similar).
- Ability to multitask with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy across data entry platforms and Microsoft Office Suite systems.
- Prior experience in a medical administration, health or related role would be an advantage as you will be asking consumers questions relating to their health and medical history.
