About CatholicCare NT and the Program
CatholicCare NT is a Catholic social service agency established in the Diocese of Darwin. We provide services throughout the NT, including service centres in Darwin, Palmerston, Malak, Tiwi Islands, Daly River, Wadeye, Jabiru, Maningrida, Katherine, Tennant Creek, Alice Springs, Santa Teresa, Titjikala, Finke and APY lands.
About the role
The Participant Support Officer is responsible for providing administrative support to the Berrimah site, through coordinating matters pertaining to daily operations, building maintenance and resource management. Furthermore, being stationed at the front desk, the role has a particular focus on providing professional, welcoming and culturally respectful customer services to participants, visitors, service providers, stake holders and general public.
What we are looking for
- Relevant qualifications in Office Management or Participant Facilitation with substantial experience in a similar role.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills including background in corporate communications. Background in managing public sector and/or health sector communication would be highly regarded.
- Demonstrated cultural competency, particularly in working with Indigenous people.
