Role Profile:
The primary focus of the role is on client account development, revenue generation, and delivery of Climate Change consulting services to deliver strategic value to our clients. In particular:
Climate Change Risk Assessments- Physical and Transitional, in line with TCFD Reporting requirements
Corporate Climate Change strategy and decarbonization roadmap development
Climate change abatement, adaptation and advisory and
Climate change digital solutions.
Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality, market-leading projects that help our clients to understand and respond to the challenges and opportunities presented by the transition to a net zero world.
Develop new client relationships and expand existing relationships by delivering strategic consulting advice, excellent value, and quality service.
Take an active role in developing our team leaders, and setting them up to progress in the path to partnership through imparting both technical knowledge and broader business acumen.
Raise the profile of ERM's capabilities across designated key client, and identify and shape our services to meet our clients' needs .
Support the growth and development of ERM Climate Change service area in Australia and actively collaborate with colleagues across our global network.
Drive innovation within the Climate Change service line to stay ahead of client needs and to differentiate us in the market. Actively develop commercial strategies to pursue and win new business opportunities.
Stay abreast of industry business cycles and prioritise our efforts toward high-potential, high-impact opportunities.
Foster digital climate tool partnership opportunities and work with our digital solutions team to identify new opportunities.
Qualifications and Attributes:
Post-graduate degree in economics, science, environmental management, engineering or related discipline.
12+ years' experience in the sustainability field preferably with a strong history of consulting experience and a demonstrated track record in successfully winning and delivering large and strategic Climate Change-related projects.
Understanding of the key technical and policy drivers for the climate risk agenda, with a particular focus on guidance from the TCFD and emerging ISSB Standards.
Commercial acumen to understand business risk and challenges and recognise corporate opportunities.
A strong, established reputation and a wide network of contacts across the sustainability field.
