Job description

The Launceston branch is currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Trainee Parts Advisor to join our team. You will have the opportunity to work and learn in our well-equipped branch. Responsibilities will include, learning to provide parts interpreting services and support to the Parts, Services and Sales Departments. Provide prompt and efficient service to walk in customers, telephone enquiries and email requests. A Trainee Parts Advisor will develop and apply administrative tasks, including invoicing, purchase order creation, parts procurement from external vendors when required, inventory receipting for direct ship orders. Growing your customer service skills and learning parts sales with our customers, including promoting new products and services.

About You: 

  • Completed Year 12 with passes in English and Mathematics
  • A passion for vehicles and the automotive industry
  • A willingness to work and learn on the job
  • Strong customer service focus
  • Pride in completing jobs to a high standard
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to work in a team environment
  • Commitment to the full term of the traineeship
