15th March, 2024 The primary purpose of the position is to co-ordinate and facilitate all areas of; liturgical, spiritual, pastoral care and evangelisation across the three worshipping communities of to ensure the provision of quality experiences which celebrate and strengthen the communities’ journey of faith and catholic identity. As part of the Parish Leadership Team, the Pastoral Associate will work collaboratively with the Parish Priest and with volunteer teams and parishioners.
Our ideal candidate will be responsible for: Liturgical Ministry: Collaborate with the pastor and liturgical team to plan and execute meaningful and reverent liturgical celebrations. Coordinate and train liturgical ministers, including altar servers, lectors, extraordinary ministers of Holy Communion, and ushers. Ensure that liturgical spaces are prepared and maintained appropriately for worship.
