Form of work 10 pastoral workers are required starting August 2024 for 4 years across properties in Gooloogong, Cowra and Young, New South Wales. Workers must be available to work Full time hours – 38 hours per week. Hours of work will vary daily, depending on farm requirements. This work is indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions and involves managing, breeding, rearing or grazing of livestock, dairying and general maintenance. Wages will be under the Pastoral Award 2020 and primarily paid at the hourly award rate ($22.61 per hour). Workers must be available for the full duration. You will need reliable transport. It is essential that you are able to work flexible hours as rosters will vary. You must be reliable and committed and have the ability to work quickly and accurately. Due to the high physical demands of these positions, workers will need to be physically fit and self-motivated. You may be on your feet for extended periods and required to perform repetitive manual tasks.
