Pay: $43,000 - $61,000 (depending on experience and performance)

Full-time permanent 6am - 2:30pm Monday - Friday

The role:

We are seeking one full-time, permanent, experienced Pastry Cook Assistants for pastry laminating and dough production in the pastry department. Must be physically strong, There will be thorough training on the job.

The role is 6am - 2:30pm Monday to Friday.

The role will require lifting 15kg multiple times throughout the shift, plus some 25kg lifting (e.g., sacks of flour). You will be working in a team, assisting in the manufacturing of croissants, danishes and so on. As a wholesaler, we make large batches of any one item.

The very best candidates will already have pastry laminating and dough production experience, gained from working in a fast-paced food production bakery environment, however we are making these positions open to those who have food manufacturing experience and who are physically strong and keen to learn. Employees are encouraged to expand and improve their range of skills in the industry, with the potential for advancement within the company.

Essential characteristics:

. physically strong, able to repeatedly lift 15 kg, and also lift 25 kg.

·previous experience as a pastry cook assistant or food manufacturing

- detail orientated, consistently taking great pride in your work

· ability to learn new skills and new machinery

· ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team environment

· ability to use equipment safely

· able to start shifts from 6am, Monday to Friday, working 38 hours
