Physically strong Trainee Pastry Cook Assistant required for wholesale bakery in Dandenong South VIC 3175
Pay: $45,000 - $50,000 (depending on experience and performance)
Full-time permanent 5am - 1pm Monday – Friday

The role:
We are seeking two permanent, Trainee Pastry Cook Assistants for pastry laminating and dough production in the pastry department. No previous experience required if the applicants are physically strong and keen to learn. There will be thorough training on the job.
The hours are 5am - 1pm Monday to Friday.
The role will require lifting 15kg multiple times throughout the shift, plus some 25kg lifting (e.g., sacks of flour). You will be working in a team, assisting in the manufacturing of croissants, danishes and so on. As a wholesaler, we make large batches of any one item.
The very best candidates will already have pastry laminating and dough production experience, gained from working in a fast-paced food production bakery environment, however we are making these positions open to those with no experience but who are physically strong and keen to learn. Employees are encouraged to expand and improve their range of skills in the industry, with the potential for advancement within the company.
Essential characteristics:
