Mary Street Bakery is an artisan bakery which supplies handmade pastry and bread products to our own modern cafés.
We are looking for an experienced pastry chef to work in our pastry department performing the following duties:
- Making croissant, puff and sweet pastry doughs
- Laminating rolling and cutting doughs to create our extensive range of sweet and savoury products
- Creating and decorating our range of cakes
- Maintaining our par levels of stock and ensuring proper storage and labelling of all our food supplies
- Ensure overall cleanliness and food safety requirements are maintained at all times
You will work closely with the Head Pastry Chef and the entire pastry team so effective communication is important.
The role is working night shifts across Monday to Sunday for a total 38 hours per week.
At least 3 years post apprenticeship experience or similar is required.
