We are seeking Casual, Permanent Part Time and Full Time phlebotomists in the Gold Coast area.
The primary duties will be to take blood and other specimens from patients including performing ECG's and Holter monitoring.
Skills and experience preferred but not essential
Venepuncture experience essential with vacutainermethod
- Collection of blood and other samples from patients
- Experience in ECG's and Holter monitors
- Processing of Pathology Specimens
- Ability to work alone.
- Clerical duties and Process paperwork
- Own car and current drivers licence is preferred
- Ability to communicate with the team, referring Doctors and patients
- Ability to provide dedication to patient care and service delivery
- Ability to demonstrate organisation and problem solving skills
- Ability to prioritise and work under pressure
- Basic computer skills
- Comply with Work Health and Safety
- Vaccine preventable disease evidence such as Hepatitis B is a requirement of this role
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge in Phlebotomy or a Certificate III in Pathology Collection would be advantageous
