Additional information:
- An eligibility list will be created for future permanent full or part time and temporary full or part time vacancies.
To provide support in Pathology in the pre-analytical areas. This mainly includes blood collections (phlebotomy), specimen processing, reception work and data entry.
- Previous experience in venepuncture and capillary blood collection techniques.
- Previous experience in handling / sorting Pathology specimens.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team and relate positively and effectively within the team setting.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Previous reception or customer service skills.
- Demonstrated competent ability to use computers with particular emphasis on data entry skills.
- Ability to work 7-day rotating roster.
