We are a dedicated independent statutory agency committed to enhancing the lives of individuals with significant and permanent disabilities. We're searching for an extraordinary individual to become an integral part of our dynamic Brisbane team as an APS4 Payments Officer.

  • Located in Brisbane CBD
  • Up to 12-months assignment, with the possibility of extension, pending performance and business requirements
  • $44 per hour + superannuation


About the Role

As a member of the Payments Branch, you'll play a crucial role in supporting service providers delivering Agency's funded services to participants. You'll be responsible for investigating and resolving rejected payment requests through the my place provider and participant portals. Additionally, you'll manage manual payments to providers and self-managed participants.

Responsibilities may include but not limited to:

  • Dive into investigating and resolving rejected payment requests via my place portals.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to provide top-notch payment query resolutions.
  • Skillfully process manual payments for providers and self-managed participants.
  • Tackle payment issues with finesse, using legislative guidelines, agency policies, and SOPs.
  • Contribute your insights to team decisions and work harmoniously toward shared targets.
  • Consistently meet and exceed individual and teamwork resolution objectives.
  • Embrace your role as a compliance champion, staying aligned with legislative and financial frameworks.
  • Stay informed about government decisions, agency guidelines, and regulations that shape our work.
