Randstad is pleased to be partnering with our client who are a successful and growing business within the construction industry. Due to a new payroll and finance system rollout they are looking to bring in a Payroll Audit Specialist or Accountant with a payroll background on a 4-6 month temporary role to provide support while they conduct a full Payroll Audit.What’s on offer?

- 4-6 month contract with potential to extend or permanency
- Hybrid working arrangements, 1-2 days per week after an initial few weeks training
- Full-time or part-time hours - our client is able to consider school hours for the right candidate

- Conduct comprehensive audits of payroll records, including some paper-based timesheets
- Review payroll data to ensure accuracy and Compliance
- Identify discrepancies, errors, and irregularities in payroll records and processes and investigate their root causes
- Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve issues and implement corrective actions
- Develop and maintain audit procedures, checklists, and documentation to facilitate efficient and thorough audits
- Provide adhoc support to broader finance and HR team in during the new system rollout
- 5+ years of experience in payroll
- Excellent communication skills
- Full and unlimited Australian working rights
