Working at Transurban is different; it’s a place where you can see the benefits of your work play out in real life, every day. We create city-sized solutions—building and operating safer, smarter, and more sustainable roads. Just as your work at Transurban will help cities grow, you’ll have opportunities to grow, too.
We all own our futures, progressing our professional and personal growth in line with our ambitions. And we’re not afraid to ask questions: we ask them all the time. We know being curious, testing ideas and sharing expertise helps us all achieve more for the cities we ultimately serve.
Our Payroll team is passionate, supportive, fun and serious when we need to be. We are growing the team (now and for the future) to position ourselves for success in upcoming projects. We’re seeking high performing payroll professionals across operations, compliance, governance and leadership.

- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work well in fast paced, high-pressure environments with tight deadlines
- Flexible working and leave options, including the option to purchase an additional six weeks of leave each year
- 16 weeks paid parental leave (regardless of gender or carer status), with no waiting period, with Superannuation paid during unpaid leave as well
