Who are we looking for....
DNA Recruitment is seeking passionate Personal Care Assistants working in Brisbane and surrounding suburbs including Bulimba, Chelmer, Ferny Grove, Wynnum, Sandgate, Yeronga, Sailsbury, The Gap, Lytwyche and Greenbank.
We have regular shifts in the morning, afternoon, and night shifts. This opportunity will ideally suit someone who is looking for work life balance and flexibility to create your own roster and balance out your working week.
What do you need to have?
- Qualified with a Certificate III in Individual Support (minimum requirement) or are currently studying a nursing degree and have completed an Aged Care clinical placement
- Must be available for scheduled and on call (last minute) shift bookings
- Demonstrated ability to work to required resident outcomes
- Certificate proof of influenza vaccination
- Certificate proof of COVID vaccination all 3 doses
- Police check OR NDIS check
What will you be doing?
- Assisting with residents daily living requirements including personal hygiene, Personal Care, pyhsical activity and support emotional needs
- Assisiting with meal times and feeding requirements
- Assist nursing staff to document and monitior residents records
- Infection control and prevention
