YMCA Queensland is seeking a P&C Officer on a Full-Time basis that is creative and fun to join our People and Culture team based at head office in Fortitude Valley.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As the People and Culture Officer, you will have a dynamic role supporting the P&C team undertaking a wide range of responsibilities along with some exciting project work.

Reporting to an energised People and Culture Operations Lead, our team is renowned for its high-performance standards and unwavering support for one another. We take pride in fostering a collaborative environment where every member is empowered to excel and contribute meaningfully, while embracing a touch of quirkiness that adds a unique vibrancy to our workplace culture.

You day will be busy with the below and so much more:

  • Take ownership of administrative tasks supporting the P&C team
  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of P&C documentation, such as job descriptions, policies, procedures and guidelines.
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate people data across the HRIS including employee files
  • Support the talent team with recruitment processes including contract generation
  • Provide amazing best practice advise for Tier 1 & 2 enquiries
  • Manage all HR reporting including compliance reporting for qualifications
  • Assist the business partners with case management

ABOUT YOU


You are an adaptable team player who possesses a unique blend of strategic thinking, empathy and creativity. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of children and families.

  • Tertiary qualifications in human resources or a related field, coupled with 3 years of hands-on experience in a similar role. 
  • A passion for delivering a high level of service to all stakeholders, with a customer-focused, can-do attitude. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt communication style to suit varying audiences. 
  • A detailed-orientated approach, showing great care and attention within all aspects of work. 
  • Demonstrated creativity and drive in contributing to people-focused projects, bringing fresh ideas and innovative solutions to the table.
