As the HR People, Performance & Culture Graduate, this Maximum Term 12 months role is to provide administrative support and co-ordination of various activities and projects in relation to People, Performance & Culture Advisory functions. This is an excellent opportunity for a customer focused recent Graduate looking to take the first step into a HR career.
Reporting to the General Manager, your responsibilities will include: Provide administrative support and co-ordination of various activities and projects in relation to People, Performance & Culture People functions and the employee lifecycle, from talent acquisition, onboarding & induction, performance reviews, training & development, health & wellbeing and exits
In consultant with the Senior People, Performance And Culture Leaders, provide first level advice and guidance to key group leaders and employees in HR functions, implementing HR policies, procedures, and practices
Preparation of org charts, reports, presentations and other documentation
Assist in implementing people engagement activities
Assist in coordinating and implementation of assigned people projects
Provide first level support regarding advice workforce planning, remuneration, contract of employment, performance management, training & development, organisational structure and other people related issues in collaboration with the People, Performance & Culture team for integrated decision making; and
Utilise and maintain quality and accurate employee’s information and files in people systems.

The successful candidate will have: Tertiary qualification (Degree level - as a minimum) in Human Resources Management, Employment Law, Business, or related discipline
Exposure to and having a working knowledge of Human Resources Information Systems is desirable but not a requirement Proficiency in MS Office (to intermediate level as a minimum): including Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is desirable Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and sensitivity in all HR matters
Highly organised – ability to multi-task and deal with a variety of activities
Strong communication skills, written and verbal Experience in working in a fast paced, volume oriented, precision focused support role within a professional team / organisation; andA team player with a curious and growth mindset, looking to build a career across all aspects of people, Performance & Culture.
This role requires a national police check to be undertaken.
