Remuneration:  $122,850 - $139,559 per annum, excluding superannuation

What you’ll be doing

In this role you will coordinate and support a collaborative and strategic approach to planning, reporting, monitoring and evaluation across the Cancer Institute NSW to understand the impact and demonstrate achievement towards organisational and system wide plans and priorities, including the NSW Cancer Plan (and its Implementation Plan), Future Health, the Regional Health Strategy and the Performance Agreement with the NSW Ministry of Health.

Your track record in contributing to and supporting the development of organisational and strategic plans and coordinating and supporting staff in strategic reporting and your proven ability to contribute to design and delivery of monitoring and evaluation strategies are key to be successful in this role.

Essential to the role will be your ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with a breadth of internal and external stakeholders.

Essential requirements

  • Post graduate qualifications in Public Health or in a related discipline or demonstrated equivalent, relevant professional experience and training.
  • Demonstrated relevant professional experience in health planning and Reporting in alignment with key strategic documents
  • Strong analytical and evaluation skills with experience in developing and implementing monitoring and evaluation frameworks, methodologies and tools, including Program logics and monitoring and evaluation plans.
  • Demonstrated ability to produce high quality written documentation and outputs including reports, correspondence, briefing papers, summaries, website updates and other collateral. 
  • Demonstrated experience working with a breadth of stakeholders and high level communication, interpersonal, consultation and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Sound understanding of the health system in NSW and the Commonwealth.

If successful for interview candidates must bring original copies of essential qualifications to be sighted by the panel, and one copy to provide to panel.
