Performance Test Specialist

Length of Contract: 1 July 2024 – 30 June 2025 + extension options up to 30 June 2028 

Clearance Required: Baseline

Location: Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne (Box Hill), Penrith

Note* Travel may be required on an ad-hoc basis to attend associated workshops and meetings. All travel must be pre-approved in writing before being undertaken.

Role Overview: 

The Performance Tester is a crucial role that is part of the Test Assurance team. Performance Testers work closely with the Test Lead, Solution Architects, and stakeholders to assess and evaluate the performance and reliability of IT systems and ensuring they perform optimally when under load.

Services and Responsibilities

• Designing, documenting, executing, and analysing Performance Tests. Including monitoring and reporting to provide reliable information to stakeholders to make informed decisions. 
• Producing all performance-related documents, including test strategies and plans, closure memos. 
• Providing high-level technical, operational, and procedural advice relating to system performance. 
• Complex problem-solving and issues management relating to Performance Testing. 

Key Skills/attributes

• Sitecore Experience Platform (XP): Content and experience delivery including user experience management 
• Sitecore Content Hub: Content lifecycle including planning, production, collaboration and management 
• Coveo search: Site search and recommendation engine, natively integrated with Sitecore 
• Other components including Docker containerisation, JavaScript frameworks (Next J.S/React and .NetNode JS) etc.
