City Fertility is on the lookout for a seasoned and passionate Peri-Operative Nurse - Admissions/Discharge to join our welcoming team at our brand new Jolimont Day Hospital. Your Role:

As an Admissions/Recovery Nurse working from our Jolimont Day Hospital, you will:

  • Provide equipment and care in emergency situations
  • Prepare patients for Admissions/Discharge from our Jolimont Day Hospital

Qualifications and skills we value:

We are looking for someone who is patient-focused, compassionate, supportive, and a team promoter. Ideally you will bring the following to the role:

  • Dedicated Experience: A minimum of 1 year in Peri-Operative Nursing (preferable)
  • Industry Know-How: Practical knowledge in a day hospital or ward setting (preferable)
  • Patient Focus: A supportive and thoughtful approach to patient care.
  • Precision Matters: Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.

In addition to the above, we also require:

  • Bachelor of Nursing Degree
  • Practices in accordance with:
    • Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) National Competency Standards for Registered Nurses.
    • National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) Standards and functions according to the Australian College of Operating Room Nurses (ACORN) Standards.
